Photo Sharing

Capture and share memorable moments from your golf event or trip with built-in photo sharing.

How Photo Sharing Works

  1. Players snap photos during their round
  2. Photos upload to the event gallery
  3. Everyone can browse and relive the memories

Uploading Photos

From Your Phone

  1. Open your event page on your phone
  2. Tap the Photos tab
  3. Tap Upload Photo
  4. Select a photo from your camera roll or take a new one
  5. Add an optional caption
  6. Tap Upload

Supported Formats

  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) - Best for most photos
  • PNG (.png) - Good for screenshots
  • WebP (.webp) - Modern format with small file sizes

File Size Limit

Each photo can be up to 5MB. Most smartphone photos fall well within this limit. If your photo is too large, try:

  • Using your phone’s “Share” option with a smaller size
  • Cropping the image before uploading
  • Taking photos at standard quality instead of RAW

Adding Captions

Captions help everyone remember the context of your photos.

When Uploading

Add your caption in the text field before tapping Upload. Good captions include:

  • The hole number (“Hole 7 - Almost an ace!”)
  • Who’s in the photo (“Team Birdie on the first tee”)
  • What happened (“Dave’s incredible bunker shot”)

Editing Captions

Already uploaded? You can edit your caption:

  1. Find your photo in the gallery
  2. Tap on the photo to open it
  3. Tap Edit Caption
  4. Update your text
  5. Tap Save

Note: You can only edit captions on photos you uploaded.

Viewing All Photos

Access the event gallery from the Photos tab on your event page. Photos appear with the most recent first.

Filtering Photos

Use filters to find specific photos:

  • By Event: See photos from a specific event (for trips with multiple events)
  • By Round: Filter to morning or afternoon rounds
  • By Uploader: View all photos from a specific person

Photo Details

Tap any photo to see:

  • Full-size image
  • Caption (if added)
  • Who uploaded it
  • When it was uploaded

Managing Your Photos

Viewing Your Uploads

To see only the photos you’ve uploaded:

  1. Open the Photos gallery
  2. Tap the filter icon
  3. Select My Photos

Deleting Photos

You can delete photos you’ve uploaded:

  1. Open the photo you want to delete
  2. Tap the Delete button (trash icon)
  3. Confirm deletion

Deleted photos cannot be recovered. Event administrators can also remove inappropriate photos.

Do Share

  • Candid moments and celebrations
  • Beautiful course scenery
  • Great shots and memorable plays
  • Team photos and group shots

Keep In Mind

  • Get permission before sharing photos of others
  • Keep photos appropriate for all audiences
  • Don’t share photos during tournament play if it might distract players

Photo Stats

Event organizers can see photo statistics:

  • Total photos uploaded
  • Photos per round
  • Most active contributors

Access photo stats from the event dashboard under Photos > Statistics.
